1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website mysolarmatch.com (the "Site") and the services provided by My Solar Match ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Site.
2. Nature of Our Service
My Solar Match is a marketing and matchmaking service only. We are an independent third-party lead generation company that connects homeowners interested in solar with licensed solar installation companies ("Partners"). We do not:
- Install, sell, service, or manufacture solar equipment
- Act as a solar contractor or hold any contractor's license
- Provide solar consultations, site assessments, or technical advice
- Guarantee pricing, equipment quality, or workmanship
- Take responsibility for any transactions between you and our Partners
Any quotes, proposals, contracts, installations, warranties, financing, or services you receive are provided entirely by independent third-party Partners. Your relationship with any solar installer is solely between you and them.
3. Eligibility
To use our matching service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a resident of the United States
- Own or have authority to make decisions about the property where solar may be installed
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
4. Your Information and Consent
When you submit your information through our Site, you expressly authorize us to:
- Share your information with up to four (4) solar installation Partners in your area
- Have those Partners contact you by phone, text, email, or mail about solar services, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list
- Use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and TCPA Consent
Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchase. You may opt out at any time.
5. No Guarantees
We make no guarantees regarding:
- The availability, quality, or pricing of solar services in your area
- The amount of savings you may or may not achieve
- Eligibility for tax credits, rebates, or incentives
- The performance or reliability of any solar system
- The practices or representations of any Partner
All savings estimates, incentive amounts, and performance claims come from third-party sources or our Partners. Your actual results may vary significantly based on location, equipment, installation, usage, weather, utility rates, and other factors.
6. Partner Interactions
Any dispute, claim, or concern regarding a solar installer's services, products, pricing, quality, warranty, financing, or conduct must be resolved directly with that installer. My Solar Match is not a party to any agreement between you and a Partner.
We do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the work of any Partner. While we vet Partners for licensing and basic qualifications, we cannot verify every aspect of their operations or guarantee their continued compliance. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, including:
- Verifying licensing, insurance, and bonding
- Reading contracts carefully before signing
- Researching reviews and references
- Understanding financing terms and warranties
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is owned by My Solar Match or licensed to us and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Site
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Collect information about other users without their consent
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY SOLAR MATCH, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR INTERACTIONS WITH PARTNERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless My Solar Match and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials. This provision does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wake County, North Carolina.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.
16. Severability

17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and TCPA Consent, constitute the entire agreement between you and My Solar Match regarding the use of the Site.
